What Niskufy collects when you shop, sell or ride with us, why we hold it, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

01Who is responsible for your data

02Shoppers — what we collect
Your name, mobile number and (if you give them) email and photo; the delivery addresses you save, with the map point you pin; your orders, carts and the stores you order from; and your location — only when you allow it — to show stores near you and calculate the delivery fee.
03Sellers — what we collect
The store's name, owner, mobile, email, address and map location, opening hours, photos, GSTIN (if any), bank account for payouts, and — for verification — the owner's Aadhaar and PAN numbers with photos of the cards. Aadhaar and PAN photos are stored privately, outside the public website, and only the Niskufy verification team can open them. Shoppers never see them.
04Riders — what we collect
Name, mobile, vehicle details and a sign-in PIN set by our team. While a rider is ONLINE, the phone's location is shared every few seconds so customers can see their delivery coming and the team can assign nearby orders. Going offline stops it.
05Who sees your order
The store you order from sees your name, mobile, delivery address and the items. The rider assigned to your order sees your name, mobile and address, and the store's address. Nobody else does. Your 4-digit delivery code is shown only to you.
06Why we hold it
To show nearby stores, take and deliver orders, collect cash or payments, pay sellers and riders, run referrals, answer support requests, prevent fraud, and keep the records tax and consumer law require.
07Payments
Cash on delivery is collected by the rider or the store. When online payment is switched on it is processed by a licensed payment gateway; we never see or store your card or UPI PIN.
08Messages and notifications
Order updates (accepted, packed, on the way, delivered) come as app notifications, WhatsApp or SMS. Offers are sent only if you asked for them, and every offer message tells you how to stop them.
09How long we keep it
Order and payout records are kept for as long as tax law requires (currently up to 8 years). KYC documents are kept while the store is active and for the period the law requires after it closes. Your account, saved addresses and chats are deleted when you ask, or when you delete your account in the app.
10Your rights (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)
You can ask for a summary of the data we hold about you, correct it, have it erased, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Write to niskufy@gmail.com; we reply within a few working days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
12Children
Niskufy is meant for adults. Medicines and some other items can only be ordered by an adult, and prescription medicines need a valid prescription.
