How to cancel an order, and what happens when an item is missing, damaged, wrong or not fresh.

01Cancelling an order
Open the order and tap Cancel — free, until the store accepts it. After the store accepts, it may already be packing your items; contact the store (its number is on the order) or Support, and we will cancel it if it has not left the store. A cancelled order puts the items back in the store's stock and returns any wallet credit you used.
02If the store cannot take your order
Sometimes a store declines (an item ran out, the store is closing). You see the reason on the order straight away and nothing is charged.
03Missing, damaged or wrong items
Check your items at the door. If anything is missing, damaged or not what you ordered, tell us through Support in the app (or the contact below) with a photo — for fresh items (fruits, vegetables, dairy, eggs, meat, fish) within 2 hours of delivery, for everything else within 48 hours. We confirm it with the store and refund that item.
04How refunds are paid
For cash-on-delivery orders, a refund goes to your Niskufy wallet straight away (usable on your next order), or to your bank account or UPI if you ask. For online payments it goes back to the same card, UPI or account within 5–7 working days of approval.
05Items that cannot be returned
For hygiene and safety: opened or used medicines and personal-care items, innerwear, items cut or made to order (custom jewellery sizing, furniture made to measure), and perishable items reported after the time above. Manufacturer defects on electronics, hardware and furniture are handled under the product's warranty with the store's help.
06If the order never arrives
If an order is not delivered, you are not charged for it (cash on delivery) or you are refunded in full (online payment). If the rider cannot reach you at the address, the order may be cancelled after we try to call you.
